Aotea Security is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to provide engineering leadership across our growing critical security portfolio. This pivotal role drives technical excellence, governance, QA, resource planning and capability development across secure facilities, national programmes and critical infrastructure projects.

You will lead a nationally distributed engineering team, work with senior leaders and client stakeholders to ensure engineering standards remain industry-leading

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in engineering leadership or engineering management roles.
  • Strong background in electronic security, ICT infrastructure, automation, integrated systems, or related technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams.
  • Experience with governance, quality assurance and engineering standards.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project delivery.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence, coach and develop high-performing teams.
  • Experience working within complex operational environments.
  • Relevant engineering, electrical, ICT or technology qualifications.

Lead Engineering Excellence Across One of New Zealand's Most Critical Security Portfolios

Aotea Security is seeking an experienced and motivated Engineering Manager to provide engineering leadership across our growing critical security portfolio.

This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving technical excellence, engineering governance, quality assurance, resource planning and capability development across a diverse portfolio of secure facilities, national programmes and critical infrastructure projects.

You will work closely with senior leaders, project teams, operational staff and client stakeholders to ensure engineering standards remain industry-leading while supporting the successful delivery of business-as-usual operations, transition programmes and future strategic initiatives.

About The Role

As Engineering Manager, you will provide engineering leadership and oversight of engineering activities across custodial and non-custodial environments. You will lead a nationally distributed engineering team and work closely with senior leaders, project teams, operational staff and client stakeholders to ensure engineering standards remain industry-leading while supporting the successful delivery of business-as-usual operations, transition programmes and future strategic initiatives.

About You
