Job Title: Engineering Manager (PAYE) - Operator Client, Aberdeen

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to oversee all engineering design activities for a development project related to an FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) vessel. This role involves managing engineering elements throughout all project phases, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead all engineering design activities and procurement processes across project phases.
2. Ensure FPSO design is delivered on schedule, meeting the Basis of Design (BOD), Scope of Work (SOR), and contractual obligations.
3. Oversee detailed design, execution, construction, hookup, and commissioning of the facilities.
4. Identify engineering needs and interfaces; allocate resources efficiently.
5. Manage engineering interfaces, technical risks, and implement Management of Change (MoC) procedures.
6. Coordinate integrated activities across surface facilities, subsea, and flow assurance disciplines, ensuring safe and fit-for-purpose designs.
7. Maintain alignment of engineering design with business objectives and project plans.
8. Contribute to technical decision-making through Decision Technical Notes, ensuring cross-disciplinary integration.
9. Stay updated on UKCS regulatory requirements.
10. Coordinate external engineering contractors and ensure compliance with operational standards, procedures, and controls.
11. Set and enforce engineering standards and approve assurance teams, audits, and assessments.
12. Provide technical approval for MoC proposals and manage technical risks and integrity assurance throughout all project phases.
