Hitachi Rail UK Limited in Doncaster invites an Engineering Maintenance Technician Apprentice to start a structured training path combining hands-on site work with college study.

Qualifications

  • Genuine enthusiasm for working in a maintenance environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Professional and responsible approach to work.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
  • Understanding of the importance of health and safety within a working environment.
  • Motivated, dependable and detail-oriented mindset with a desire to build a career within engineering.
  • GCSE Maths and English (4/C or above) required.

Responsibilities

  • Support maintenance specialists and team members with a variety of maintenance activities.

  • Follow standard operating procedures to maintain modern rolling stock.

What you’ll be doing
