Job summary

E3 Recruitment is seeking an Engineering Maintenance Planner to oversee the planning and scheduling of maintenance across the plant near Peterborough. The role reports to the site Maintenance Manager and focuses on electrical and mechanical maintenance, including creating scopes of work, risk assessments, and parts lists.

You will support daily/weekly schedules, manage work permits, and collaborate with production to understand machinery operation for rapid fault resolution.

Qualifications

• Familiar with RAMS and compliance within an industrial engineering capacity.
• High level of computer literacy in Microsoft Office and CMMS systems such as SAP and Shire Pirana.
• LEAN manufacturing principles knowledge.
• Experience planning and scheduling maintenance across plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan all maintenance across the plant, including electrical and mechanical tasks, with scopes of work and risk assessments.
• Review daily/weekly work schedules and backlogs in meetings and report data.
• Carry out inductions and manage authorisations to work and work permits.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and production to understand machinery operation for efficient fault rectification.
• Promote the development and implementation of the Factory CMMS system.
• Apply TPM tools to drive continuous improvement across the factory.
