Job Description:

This role will ensure that the maintenance and operations of the plant, machinery, and services operate at the highest standards. The Maintenance Planner will coordinate and manage maintenance activities to optimize the performance of engineering assets and staff.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Improving team performance to ensure consistency in communication and standards.
  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive maintenance plan for engineering assets.
  • Scheduling regular maintenance activities and managing resources, including personnel and materials.
  • Collaborating with engineering and operations teams to assess needs and prioritize tasks.
  • Managing work orders / PPMs and ensuring timely completion.
  • Monitoring maintenance performance metrics and implementing improvements.
  • Conducting root cause analysis for equipment failures and recommending corrective actions.
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, costs, and inventory.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Participating in budgeting and forecasting maintenance costs.
  • Providing training and support to maintenance staff or new recruits.
