Job Description:

This role will ensure that the maintenance and operations of the plant, machinery, and services operate at the highest standards. The Maintenance Planner will coordinate and manage maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance of engineering assets and staff.

Key responsibilities:
  • Improve team performance to ensure consistent communication and standards.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive maintenance plan for engineering assets.
  • Schedule regular maintenance activities and manage resources, including personnel and materials.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to assess needs and prioritize tasks.
  • Manage work orders / PPMs and ensure timely completion.
  • Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, costs, and inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting maintenance costs.
  • Provide training and support to maintenance staff and new recruits.
