An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Engineering & Maintenance Manager to take ownership of the engineering, maintenance and reliability of a state‑of‑the‑art growing and production facility in Wiltshire.
This is a hands‑on management role for someone who enjoys variety, solving problems and making sure critical equipment performs when it matters most. With modern glasshouses, clean‑room production areas, laboratories and sophisticated monitoring systems, the successful candidate will play a key role in keeping the entire operation running safely, efficiently and reliably.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Engineering & Maintenance Manager will lead the maintenance function across the site, supervising maintenance technicians while remaining actively involved in day‑to‑day engineering activity.
The successful candidate is likely to have 2–4 years’ engineering or maintenance experience, ideally gained within a glasshouse, production, manufacturing or similarly technical environment.
This is far more than a traditional maintenance management position. The facility is purpose‑built and incorporates modern equipment, technology and monitoring systems, meaning the Engineering & Maintenance Manager will have a genuine opportunity to influence site reliability, preventative maintenance and continuous improvement.
