Overview

MACHINE SHOP MANAGER – Bradford, West Yorkshire

We are recruiting for a Machine Shop Manager to work for our client who are located in Bradford, West Yorkshire.

A typical day will be split between supervision of a small team of CNC Machinists and working in the office. Quoting, planning, organising material, routing sheets.

In your supervisory role, you will be responsible for making sure that all the correct job cards are being worked and making sure that everything is running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge and proven experience in CNC and Manual Machines.
• Achieve production timings in a timely manner.
• Manage and supervise the shop floor in the machine shop.
• Producing quotes, routing sheets, organising materials, tips and tools
• Supervise a small team of CNC Machinists and coordinate activities with the office (quoting, planning, material management, routing sheets).

Essential experiences & skills

• Minimum 2 years' experience working within a high precision manufacturing background
• Excellent communication skills

The hours

Monday - Thursday 7am - 5pm / Friday 7am-11am

The pay

You will earn an annual salary of £45,500 - £54k per annum
