Job summary

HLNSC invites applications for a Full Time Lecturer/Course Tutor in Engineering at our Folly Lane campus in Hereford. You will deliver modules to 16–19 learners, engineering apprentices and HNC students studying Levels 2–4 in Engineering, including Analogue Electronics, Electronic Devices, PLCs and Digital Electronics.

The ideal candidate will hold a minimum HNC and have relevant industry experience. Those without teaching experience but willing to train towards teaching are welcome.

Qualifications

• Minimum HNC qualification as stated.
• Relevant work/industrial experience in Engineering.
• Willing to train towards teaching roles.
• Open to fractional appointments if needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver modules to 16–19 learners, engineering apprentices and HNC students.
• Prepare, mark and assess work; provide course tutorship.
• Support student welfare and counselling.
• Participate in Faculty and College activities to meet objectives.
• Handle organisational/administrative tasks related to courses.
