Job summary

UHI Perth is one of Scotland's leading colleges of further and higher education. We are seeking an Aviation Lecturer to support the delivery of our Engineering programmes, teaching primarily at levels 7 to 10 and contributing to online learning as well as on-campus sessions.

The post involves delivering online teaching and periodic in-country teaching in China for up to two weeks, alongside supervising projects and engaging with industry requirements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in an engineering discipline, ideally with an aviation focus.
• Industry experience or knowledge of Part 66 is advantageous.
• Previous teaching experience is desirable; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver learning, teaching and assessment activities across engineering and aviation.
• Supervise student projects and contribute to research and consultancy.
• Deliver online teaching and occasional in-country teaching in China as part of the international programme.
• Contribute to the development of engineering programmes across a broad range of subjects.
