Job summary
The LTE Group is recruiting an Engineering Tutor, known internally as a Learning Coach, on a permanent, full-time basis at our Wythenshawe Campus. You will deliver high-quality engineering teaching, learning and assessment to apprentices and learners in classrooms and practical workshops.
We expect an experienced engineering professional or teacher with passion for supporting learners to develop technical knowledge, practical skills and professional behaviours for a successful career in
Qualifications
- Engineering-related teaching qualifications are required or welcomed.
- Experience delivering engineering apprenticeship standards or vocational engineering qualifications is essential.
- Strong workshop and/or delivery skills to engage diverse learners.
Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom and practical workshop sessions across engineering programmes and apprenticeship standards.
- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment activities meeting curriculum requirements.
- Assess learner work with timely, constructive feedback.
- Differentiate teaching to support learners with varying abilities.
- Embed English, maths, digital and employability skills within teaching.
