Job summary

Greencore on site in Holbeach, Lincolnshire, seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the engineering function, drive asset reliability, and improve performance while ensuring safety and quality standards.

You will manage budgets, develop maintenance strategies, and coach engineering teams in a fast-paced, FMCG environment. This permanent role offers a site-based working pattern and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in engineering leadership within FMCG/manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of asset management, maintenance strategies and best practice.
• Experience in budgeting, cost control and financial planning.
• Solid understanding of SHE legislation, compliance and food safety standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication & stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to analyse technical data and drive performance improvements.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering function on site to drive asset reliability and continuous improvement.
• Ensure safety, quality and operational standards are met and maintained.
• Develop, manage and monitor engineering budgets and forecasts.
• Oversee maintenance strategies and asset performance data analysis.
• Lead supplier performance, contractor control and service delivery.
