Job summary

9fin is seeking a hands-on engineering leader in London to manage a cross-functional team, stay involved in design reviews and architecture, and translate product plans into reliable systems for our AI-powered platform in debt markets.

You will continue to write and review code with confidence, mentoring engineers and collaborating with product, design and data colleagues. Experience with Python, TypeScript and cloud tooling (AWS or Terraform) is a plus.

This is a hands‑on engineering management role. The person leads a cross‑functional team, stays involved in design reviews and architecture, and turns product plans into reliable systems. A strong candidate has led engineers before, still writes and reviews code with confidence, and works easily with product, design and data colleagues. Experience with Python, TypeScript, AWS or Terraform is a plus.
