  • Working in collaborative multidisciplinary teams.
  • Promoting the consideration of engineering hydrogeology to foster innovative project solutions.
  • Liaison with contractors, laboratories, and regulators.

We value collaboration and believe that in-person interactions are crucial for both our culture and client delivery. We empower employees with our hybrid working policy, allowing them to split their work week between Jacobs offices/projects and remote locations to enable them to deliver their best work.

  • Honours degree in earth sciences, or equivalent.
  • Chartered with the ICE or Geological Society (or similar).
  • Demonstrable track record of technical delivery of engineering hydrogeology projects.
  • Experience of groundwater site characterization, site investigation supervision, and quantitative groundwater assessments.
  • Exposure to supervising in situ testing including variable head tests, packer tests, pumping tests, etc.
  • Experience in specifying and supervising the installation of groundwater monitoring instrumentation.
  • A sound knowledge of numerical modelling (such as SEEP/W and/or Groundwater Vistas and/or other similar software).

The role will require you to work away from your base office from time to time.
