Engineering Graduate Opportunities

Duration - 2 Years

Location - Wales

Programme Overview

Our Graduate Programme offers a unique opportunity to rotate across different operational sites and teams, giving you hands-on experience in everything from network planning and asset management to fault response and customer service.

Training is primarily office or site-based, but as you progress, you’ll enjoy increasing flexibility and responsibility as you move beyond the programme and into your engineering career.

Throughout your journey, you’ll be supported every step of the way, gaining the practical experience and professional development needed to thrive in the energy sector.

Minimum Criteria

Honours Degree (or equivalent) at a minimum of 2:2 in relevant disciplines.

A full UK driving licence is required for this role. If you are currently unable to obtain one, we’re happy to explore alternative arrangements to support you. Please note that a full UK driving licence must be in place by September 2026.

Distribution Network Engineering

Relevant Degrees: Electrical, Mechanical, Power Systems, Civil, or Construction Engineering.

What you’ll be doing
  • Gain practical, hands-on experience in both field-based and office-based roles, supporting engineering teams in maintaining, upgrading, and responding to faults in critical infrastructure
  • Get involved in network planning, asset management, and customer service to understand the full scope of electricity network management
  • Contribute to decarbonisation projects and efforts to enhance network resilience
  • Rotate through different teams and functions, building a comprehensive view of how we deliver safe, reliable, and sustainable energy to customers
  • Collaborate safely in both office and field environments as part of a supportive, innovative team culture that values continuous improvement
