Graduate Engineering Geologist

Reference: BY1805

Location: Northampton

Salary: £24,000 - £28,000

This is a brilliant opportunity for an enthusiastic geology, geotechnical engineering, geoscience or earth science graduate to join an expanding team of Geo-environmental and Geotechnical Specialists. You'll be working on a variety of Ground Investigation projects in and around the Midlands, applying your educational knowledge and developing amongst the team.

This Graduate Engineering Geologist role offers:

The successful Graduate Engineering Geologist applicant will be:
  1. Carrying out Phase I and Phase II investigations.
  2. Borehole logging.
  3. Soil and rock sampling.
  4. Trial pitting.
  5. Groundwater and Gas monitoring.
  6. Shadowing senior members of the team to develop skills.
  7. Factual and interpretive report writing.
As a result, this Graduate Engineering Geologist Engineer role requires:
  1. A degree in Geology, geotechnical engineering, engineering geology, geoscience, earth science (or a similar relevant subject).
  2. Commutable to Northampton, and willing to travel for work.
  3. Willingness to show enthusiasm and a keen interest in developing knowledge.
  4. Full UK driving licence.
  5. A Full right to work in the UK.
  6. Commutable to or live in Northampton.
