Soil Engineering is seeking a Contract Manager to oversee operational controls within the geotechnical sector. The role involves managing contracts, ensuring safety and productivity while maintaining client relations. Candidates should have relevant experience in geotechnical processes and contract management, with a strong focus on customer service and effective communication.
We are looking for candidates who can manage the day-to-day operational control of contracts within the UK, focusing on safety, quality, productivity, cost control, performance to programme, and customer service.
Candidates will maintain commercial awareness to ensure the company is not exposed financially and to achieve full margins from operational activities. They will manage contracts to perform in line with budget, maintain a motivated, effective, and safety-conscious workforce, and ensure good client relations to meet client requirements and maximize opportunities for repeat business.
We seek qualified candidates with experience in the geotechnical industry, with a solid understanding of ground conditions, drilling, and site investigation works.
Candidates should have a good understanding of geotechnical processes and contract management, with excellent written English skills and proficiency in letter writing. A strong customer-service focus, professional approach, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for liaising with clients and regional teams.
A full UK Driving License is required.
