Job summary

Dalkia UK is seeking a Financial Controller to own financial control, governance and reporting across our Engineering Division in Nottingham. You will partner with the Head of Finance to ensure a disciplined control environment, cash management and risk mitigation while steering the Financial Accounting and Transactional Shared Services teams.

The role requires ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification with post‑qualification leadership experience in large engineering/technical services settings, strong UK

Qualifications

• The ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification with significant post‑qualification leadership experience.
• Experience leading Financial Accounting and Transactional Shared Services functions.
• Strong track record in financial control, governance and audit management.

Responsibilities

• Owning and continually enhancing our financial control framework with balance sheet integrity.
• Leading monthly, quarterly and annual reporting with variance analysis for decision‑making.
• Coordinating budgeting and quarterly forecasting, challenging assumptions.
• Leading statutory reporting, tax compliance and audit processes.
• Owning divisional cash flow reporting, including the 13‑week forecast to Group Finance.
• Driving finance process improvement, systems transformation and automation.
• Leading and developing the Shared Services teams.
