Job summary

Stagecoach Group in the South region seeks an Engineering Director to lead eight maintenance depots across Hampshire, West Sussex and Surrey. You’ll drive safe, reliable operations, ensure compliance and develop the engineering team.

Reporting to the MD, you’ll manage budgets and KPIs, coach leaders, foster safety culture, and build strong stakeholder relationships locally. Willingness to travel across the South and relocate if needed is required.

In this key senior leadership role, you’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all engineering activity, ensuring our fleet is reliable, our depots are compliant and well-managed, and our people are supported to do their best work every day. You’ll report to the Managing Director and act as one of the nominated Transport Manager's on the Operator’s Licence.
