Terry Parris Associates in West Sussex is seeking an Engineering Director to lead the UK engineering function, shaping the roadmap for high-voltage power supplies and improving delivery across the portfolio. You will develop the team, champion risk management, govern design across power conversion, digital control, embedded software and magnetics, and ensure manufacturability and reliability of complex electronics.

The role is fully based in Pulborough.

Formación

• 10+ years in electronics design or manufacturing.
• 5+ years in general and project management.
• Evidence of leading engineering teams and delivering complex electronics programmes into manufacture.

A high-voltage electronics manufacturer is appointing a Director of Engineering to lead its UK engineering function. You'll develop the team, improve delivery across the engineering portfolio and shape the roadmap for the next generation of high-voltage power supplies.

What you will lead

• Lead design governance and help engineering, manufacturing and global teams turn complex designs into reliable, manufacturable products.
• Translate customer needs into investment and platform decisions. Guide work across power conversion, digital control, embedded software and magnetics.

What you will bring

• An engineering degree, ideally in electrical or electronic engineering, with 10+ years in electronics design or manufacturing and 5+ years in general and project management.
• Evidence of leading engineering teams and delivering complex electronics programmes into manufacture.
• Strong judgement on technical risk, design governance, manufacturing controls and competing programme priorities.

Salary and benefits

Benefits include a 10% employer pension contribution with a 5% employee contribution, single private medical cover on a medical history disregarded basis, single Level 2 cash plan cover, group income protection and life cover at four times salary.

The role is fully based in Pulborough. Visa sponsorship and relocation support may be considered.
