Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Recommending annual programme of work and budgetary requirements.
  2. Overseeing submission of work packages to the Telecoms contractor, including tracking KPIs.
  3. Ensuring project designs are submitted to contractors timely, in line with stakeholder needs and budget.
  4. Managing stakeholder engagement with Licence areas through monthly meetings covering Risks, Issues, and Demand Planning.
  5. Prioritising project delivery requirements and being the point of escalation for SPEN business project deliverables.
  6. Assisting with budget identification and management of CAPEX spend against project, task, and activity budgets.
  7. Ensuring team forecasts CAPEX in line with business needs and reporting to Telecoms manager.
  8. Working with the business to plan and prioritise projects requiring Telecoms input.

What you’ll bring:

A degree in electrical, electronic, or telecoms engineering or a relevant discipline, supported by a minimum of 5 years of engineering or industry experience.

Experience managing teams of engineers or seeking to gain such experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at senior stakeholder levels and partner with internal customers.

Strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritise and devise timely solutions.

Experience in change or project management and proficiency in MS Office.

Basic awareness of cyber security standards and policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience managing multiple delivery partners.
  • At least 2 years of experience leading people.
