Job Opportunity: Engineering Delivery Manager

This is a fantastic career opportunity for someone with engineering project management experience to join a highly collaborative and supportive team in our Capital Maintenance Projects and deliver modern and innovative solutions to our operational sites.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a large portfolio of capital projects, providing MEICA and Civil engineering construction solutions for wastewater, water production, waste, and water network functions, both above and below ground.
• Be an integral part of the growing Capital Maintenance Projects team.
• Oversee procurement processes, framework suppliers, and subcontractor supply chains involved in site-based construction activities.
• Manage resources and support the training and development of Project Engineers.
• Support estimates, programming, and planning efforts.
• Ensure all projects meet program deadlines, client specifications, and legislative requirements, including health and safety standards.

Location and Working Conditions:

The role is based in Guildford with travel across the area. It requires being office-based five days a week. A valid driving license is necessary as the role includes a car allowance.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience in a commercial and technical engineering role, preferably with a degree/HND in engineering or business administration.
• Proven project management experience in an engineering environment, with knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and ICA systems.
• Experience managing procurement processes and subcontractor supply chains.
• Leadership skills in resource management and staff development.
