You will ensure an efficient and effective workflow of engineering activities, promoting positive progression of workflow planning and issue management through to completion, while maintaining a positive customer experience through regular communication with stakeholders and customers as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure the installation, maintenance, and service of Airband's fibre and FWA networks from site to customer premises are efficient and effective.
  2. Read and understand technical drawings and specifications, including current fibre planning software (Vetro/Fibre Cloud).
  3. Liaise with external companies and agencies for installations, such as Joint User Pole agreements, Traffic Management, and Wayleaves.
  4. Support other Airband engineering teams across the UK to meet customer needs and project timelines.
  5. Maintain regular contact with colleagues and customers, providing updates and reports to stakeholders.
  6. Conduct utility and line searches to ensure safety during operations.
  7. Report daily to the Network Delivery Manager on issues or risks that may delay workflows, including detailed reports on work completion, achievements, and challenges.
  8. Adhere to health and safety requirements of clients and customers.
  9. Schedule work tasks for engineering teams using Salesforce or equivalent systems, ensuring all work is documented.
  10. Coordinate with site owners for access arrangements and resolve access issues.
  11. Stay updated on relevant legislation and requirements related to engineering activities.
  12. Update company reporting documents to disseminate information as needed.
  13. Raise purchase orders and track their delivery and completion.
  14. Facilitate the coordination and installation of broadband services, resolving installation challenges.
  15. Provide support and coordination for engineering teams, maintaining a customer-centric workflow.
  16. Communicate effectively with a broad customer base and interdepartmental contacts.
  17. Work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team.
  18. Prioritize, organize, and manage tasks efficiently.
  19. Maintain good observational, analytical, and presentation skills.
  20. Ensure compliance with Street Works Unit 02 SLG and LANTRA Traffic Management Scheme standards.
