Role Purpose

Provision of all-round engineering support, maintaining the systems within the London and regional portfolio, and mobilising new contracts as they arise. Have a detailed understanding of all new or current Building Services systems and contingency procedures within the buildings, complying with Health & Safety and building codes of practice.

It is the Contract Delivery Manager’s responsibility to manage the engineering teams, act as a coordination point for day-to-day activities on the portfolio between the team, specialist service partners, and project works. Ensure that all personnel conduct is safe, professional, and conscientious.

Responsible for ensuring that all activities (PPM, reactive tasks, and breakdowns) within their portfolio are known and carried out with due regard to Health and Safety, maintaining 100% uptime. Also responsible for ensuring that manning levels are maintained.

Maintain excellent standards of response to plant failures, completion of assigned work, and ensure abnormal operating conditions and housekeeping issues are addressed proficiently.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain excellent client relationships at all levels.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute quarterly business reviews (QBR) for their region.
• Act as point of escalation for all engineering matters in their region, working closely with Senior FM’s.
• Build and oversee audit and quality management procedures for all contract delivery areas, working with Property and Engineering teams to close out audit actions.
• Support site engineering audits and oversee Planned and Reactive maintenance for all assets in the CAFM system, ensuring compliance with maintenance regimes.
• Work with Engineering Managers to analyze PPM and asset data to identify efficiencies, cost savings, and contract growth opportunities.
• Ensure all compliance is up to date and act as POC for site compliance logs and audits.
• Ensure all premises risk matters are addressed within required times.
• Coordinate statutory inspections and ensure internal audits are completed per policies.
• Provide subcontractor control for the site-wide FM operation.
• Analyze service failures and implement resilient remedial works.
• Maintain a consistent level of service delivery according to SLAs and KPIs.
• Monitor and close off all monthly PPM work orders promptly.
• Provide quarterly financial reports and oversee project delivery to ensure timely completion and invoicing.
• Manage Work in Progress within expected budgets and report regularly to the Account Director.
• Ensure parts and resources are accurately stated and communicate any issues to customers.
• Support sustainability initiatives and tasks.
• Highlight labor shortfalls or needs to meet SLA requirements.
• Coordinate all near misses, incidents, and accidents within their area.
• Ensure all training requirements are met as per contract.
