Salary and Benefits

£35K - £53K plus a car allowance, with an annual bonus scheme of up to 20% of base salary . . We also offer various other supportive benefits, including private healthcare and 34 days holiday allowance.

About The Role

We are recruiting for across the business, and as an Engineering Consultant you will be joining the business at an exciting time. Indicatura is a vibrant and growing consultancy that delivers improved value to clients from planned investments in new and existing physical assets. We play a key role in the shaping and delivery of some of the UK’s most critical and exciting projects. Our clients are top tier companies or national government and public sector organisations and we help those clients make the best CapEx decisions.

Key Responsibilities

This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our likeminded team of professionals.

As an Engineering Consultant you would be working with our consulting team;

  • Capturing and analysing engineering and asset-based information
  • Investigating the root causes of inefficiencies and problems
  • Developing suitable, feasible and acceptable solutions
  • Collating information into presentable graphs, tables and slides
  • Contributing to written reports
  • Running and facilitating workshops and meetings with a range of audience engagement
  • Quantified decision-making and implementing objectivity in reporting
  • Creating links between engineering practicalities and financial realities
  • Forming relationships with clients to assist in moving work and business development forward.

What are we looking for in a candidate?

The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of engineering and reliability analyses. And they will need the personal drive and motivation to support the delivery of our engineering services. Many of our clients won’t make strategic decisions on capital projects or operations without our advice; so they will need the experience, skills and gravitas to communicate effectively to a range of stakeholders.

You will have a keen interest in;

  • understanding how physical assets are maintained and used
  • how to apply reliability analyses to real life scenarios
  • how data can be exploited to optimise asset value
  • a strong interest or experience (education or work) in data analysis and problem solving
  • confident in a client facing environment

Qualifications

  • Degree or Master’s or PHD in engineering, such as mechanical, materials, aerospace, physics, math’s (applied) or computer science, civil, electrical, chemical or other STEM based degree.
