A leading water utility company in the UK is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to oversee quality assurance on construction projects. This role involves ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards while guiding junior staff. The ideal candidate will have NEC4 Contract Management expertise and a background in Civil or Process Engineering. The position offers competitive salary and a hybrid working arrangement.

Southern Water is looking for a Quality Assurance Supervisor to be the eyes and ears on-site, ensuring our infrastructure projects meet the highest standards under the NEC Contract.
As a key player in our construction delivery team, you'll lead quality assurance across major infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects. Supervise our Delivery Partners (DPs & SDPs) to ensure work meets the Works Information and safety regulations. Champion a "right first time" approach, witnessing critical construction hold points and commissioning tests. Provide expert guidance and mentoring to junior team members and drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance delivery processes.
Responsibilities will include:
The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in NEC4 Contract Management, with a thorough understanding of the Supervisor duties outlined within the contract. They will hold a background in Civil or Process Engineering, qualified to HNC level or above, and have proven experience in construction management and contractor supervision. A valid NEBOSH Health & Safety qualification is essential, alongside familiarity with key industry standards and regulations including CDM, CESWI, WIMES, and Regulation 31 requirements.
All applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. You will need to provide evidence of eligibility (e.g. a passport or long birth certificate and proof of NI) and current proof of address (dated within the last 3 months), will be required as part of the recruitment process.
This role will be full time Monday to Friday 37 hours a week. Southern Water operate a hybrid approach to working between our Durrington office and home.
