Job summary

Adecco Portugal is seeking an Engineering Configuration Manager for a major aerospace client in Buckinghamshire. This 6+ month contract role requires SC clearance eligibility and offers a day rate of 450-550 GBP Umbrella.

Responsibilities include developing configuration management plans, maintaining documentation, conducting audits, and coordinating activities across engineering teams. A strong background in defence/aerospace/configuration management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in configuration management in defence/aerospace/engineering/manufacturing.
• Experience controlling product data, engineering changes, baselines, BOMs, documentation and records.
• PLM systems and Product Data Management experience.
• Understanding of engineering processes and project lifecycles.
• Proficiency in configuration management software and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Degree in engineering or related field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities.
• A relevant degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.
