Job Title: Engineering Co-Ordinator

Job Summary:
You will ensure an efficient & effective fluid workflow of engineer activities, positive progression of workflow planning and issue management through to completion, whilst maintaining a positive customer experience through regular communication with stakeholders & customers as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with the relevant teams both internal and external to Airband to ensure the installation/maintenance & service of Airband’s fibre & FWA networks from site to the customer premise are as efficient and effective as possible.
- Read and understand technical drawing and specification sheets including our current fibre planning software (Vetro/fibre cloud).
- Liaising with external companies and agencies to facilitate the installations required, such as Joint User Pole agreements, Traffic Management and Wayleaves.
- Assisting other Airband engineering teams across the UK where necessary to support customer needs or project timescales.
- Liaising with both colleagues and customers; keeping in regular contact & providing updates/reports as necessary to stakeholders.
- Conducting utility/line searches when necessary to ensure the team are working safely.
- Report to the Network Delivery Manager daily on any issues/risks that may delay the agreed workflow with a more detailed report of work completion, achievements & issues as required.
- Working in accordance with the clients and customers Health and Safety requirements.
- Schedule work tasks for all engineering teams on Salesforce or equivalent systems, ensuring all work is accounted for and documented.
- Speaking with site owners on occasions to book access and resolve any potential access issues.
- Remaining up to date with relevant legislation and requirements pertinent to the activities of the Airband engineering teams.
- Updating company reporting documents to disseminate information as required.
- Raise purchase orders when required and track through to delivery/completion.
Key Skills:
- Facilitating the co-ordination and installation of Airband’s broadband delivery to customers, via the resolution of installation challenges.
- Provide support and effective engineer coordination for all engineering teams.
- Work with all engineering teams to maintain a time-critical, cost-effective and customer-centric workflow.
- Ability to communicate with a broad customer base plus interdepartmental contacts.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Work as part of a collaborative team.
- Be able to prioritise, organise and manage tasks.
- Good observational and analytical skills and a good eye for detail.
- Well-presented and have good presentation skills.

- Street Works Unit 02 SLG.
