Job summary

Leonardo S.p.A. in the UK is seeking a Head of Engineering Capability to shape the future of engineering across the organisation. You will lead the development of engineering processes, tools and governance, enabling teams to deliver with greater efficiency, consistency and confidence within the Electronics function.

The role focuses on data-driven governance, KPI performance, and cross-functional collaboration to drive engineering transformation and standardisation across the UK business.

Qualifications

• Degree level education or equivalent experience, with senior engineering background.
• Minimum of 10 years in engineering management focusing on governance and process improvement.
• Experience driving digital engineering tools and PLM within complex organisations.

Responsibilities

• Chair the Engineering Process Council and lead on process standards.
• Develop data-driven governance for engineering capability and performance.
• Drive integrated engineering tooling and data workflows across business units.
• Lead continuous improvement and change across engineering teams.
• Engage Design Integrity, Quality and Programme teams to align priorities.
