Job summary

Leonardo is seeking an Head of Engineering Capability to spearhead governance, process improvement and digital engineering across the organisation. You will chair councils, drive KPI-led performance, and ensure tool alignment with strategic objectives.

You will lead cross-functional teams, coach senior engineers, and collaborate with Design Integrity, Quality and Digital Engineering to embed standardisation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree level education or equivalent experience.
• Related professional qualifications are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Chair the Engineering Process Council and lead on development of processes and standards.
• Develop a data-driven governance framework for engineering capability and performance.
• Drive development of an integrated engineering ecosystem connecting processes, tools and data.
• Lead adoption of new tools, processes and governance practices across engineering teams.
• Act as the interface between Design Integrity, Engineering, Quality, Digital Engineering and Programme teams.
