Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking an Assembly Operative to join a Carlisle-based manufacturing team. You will assemble parts, test products, and perform quality checks to ensure high standards and on-time delivery in a busy production environment.

This hands-on role requires an engineering background, ability to read technical drawings, and a proactive, team-driven approach. Overtime is regularly available at enhanced rates, with opportunities to develop your skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts and products accurately and efficiently as part of the manufacturing team.
• Test assembled products to ensure they meet required standards.
• Carry out routine quality checks and testing throughout the assembly process.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within your area of responsibility.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the work area.
• Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Work well in a team to meet production deadlines.
