Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is seeking an Assembly Operative in Carlisle for a permanent role within our client’s manufacturing team. You will assemble parts, test products and ensure quality while adhering to deadlines in a hands-on engineered environment.

The role requires reading technical drawings, attention to detail and a collaborative mindset. Regular 40-hour weeks with overtime opportunities offers a clear path for skill development and contributing to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification or relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts and products accurately and efficiently as part of the conveying manufacturing team.
• Test assembled products to ensure they meet required standards.
• Carry out routine quality checks and testing throughout the assembly process.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within your area of responsibility.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping within your process and work area.
• Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Work effectively as part of a team while meeting production deadlines.
