Job summary

Capita collaborates with the Royal Navy to support HMS Sultan apprentices through their Engineering apprenticeships, coordinating activities and ensuring learners progress effectively. The role covers guidance, administrative duties, and on-site visits to support apprentices in real work environments.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering background, Level 2 English and Maths, and strong IT/admin skills to manage a demanding workload in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification or relevant industry experience.
• Level 2 English and Maths or equivalent.
• Strong IT and administrative skills across multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering apprentices from enrolment through to completion.
• Manage a caseload with regular progress reviews and guidance.
• Build positive relationships with apprentices, training teams and stakeholders.
• Complete programme administration and funding documentation to apprenticeship standards.
• Visit training establishments and workplaces to support apprentices in real environments.
• Identify learners needing extra support and help gather evidence and experience.
