Job summary

Forza Foods is offering an onsite Engineering Apprentice position at our Normanton protein site. You will join the Engineering Team to maintain, repair and improve manufacturing equipment while completing a structured apprenticeship to become a Multi-Skilled Engineer.

You will learn engineering principles, be involved in planned maintenance, fault-finding across mechanical, electrical and automated systems, and work towards recognised apprenticeship qualifications through on‑the‑job training and

Passion to complete an apprenticeship alongside practical work experience.
Willingness to learn engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
Commitment to personal development and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Assist engineers with planned preventive maintenance activities.
Support breakdown repairs to minimise downtime and maintain production efficiency.
Learn fault-finding on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and automated systems.
Assist with equipment inspections and condition monitoring activities.
Support machine changeovers and production start-up activities.
Help maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
