Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, including Maths and English.
• Numerical and reasoning ability to meet apprenticeship entry requirements.
• Practical aptitude and an interest in Engineering.
• Positive, self-motivated attitude, able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Engineering team to complete maintenance tasks efficiently.
• Assist with planned and reactive maintenance activities.
• Develop quick responses to equipment breakdowns and identify root causes.
• Follow engineering standards and site hygiene practices.
• Ensure activities comply with health and safety requirements.
• Follow escalation procedures for downtime and minimise disruption.
• Use problem-solving techniques to identify and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support site performance.
