Morgan Gray is seeking an Engineering Applications Analyst to join the technology team in Fareham. The role supports engineering software, PDM/PLM platforms and enterprise applications used across multiple regions.

You will administer and configure systems, manage upgrades, and troubleshoot issues in Windows and Linux environments while collaborating with IT and Engineering to improve performance and reliability. This is a hybrid role with four days on-site and one day remote weekly.

Qualificações

• Hands-on experience with engineering software or enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with PDM/PLM systems and engineering toolchains.
• Experience administering and supporting enterprise applications.

Responsabilidades

• Administering, configuring and supporting engineering and enterprise applications
• Managing upgrades, migrations, implementations and maintenance
• Supporting users, permissions, onboarding/offboarding and licences
• Troubleshooting issues across Windows and Linux environments
• Partnering with IT and Engineering to improve performance and reliability
• Maintaining integrations, plugins, workflows and automation scripts
• Supporting MSSQL, PostgreSQL and MySQL databases

An established global engineering organisation is looking for an Engineering Applications Analyst to join its technology team in Fareham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience supporting engineering software, PDM/PLM platforms or enterprise applications within a technical environment.

You'll play a key role in supporting and improving the systems used by engineering teams across multiple regions, working with applications including SolidWorks, Altium, Siemens, National Instruments and the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket).

What you'll be doing:

• Administering, configuring and supporting engineering and enterprise applications
• Managing system upgrades, migrations, implementations and maintenance
• Supporting users, permissions, onboarding/offboarding and licence servers
• Troubleshooting technical issues across Windows and Linux environments
• Working with IT and Engineering teams to improve application performance and reliability
• Maintaining integrations, plugins, workflows, documentation and automation scripts
• Supporting databases including MSSQL, PostgreSQL and MySQL

What we're looking for:

You'll need hands-on experience with at least one of the following:

• SolidWorks PDM or other PDM/PLM systems
• Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence or Bitbucket
• Siemens engineering applications
• Altium
• National Instruments

Experience with Windows/Linux servers, SQL databases, PowerShell or other scripting/automation, or administering enterprise applications would be a strong advantage. A relevant degree, HND or similar qualification in Engineering, IT or Computer Science would also be beneficial.

This is a hybrid position working four days on site in Fareham and one day from home per week.
