Job summary

Sulzer invites graduates to join a two‑year Engineering & Technical Graduate Programme offering broad exposure across design, industrial, and process engineering. You’ll rotate through UK sites, engage in project delivery, and work with senior engineers to gain hands-on experience in rotating equipment, control of projects, and service solutions.

• Must have a 2:2 degree or higher in mechanical, industrial, or process engineering.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate opportunities for innovative enhancements in the workplace, considering emerging technologies and process advancements.
• Research and recommend marketplace technologies and process improvements.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop and deliver project plans against agreed milestones.
• Manage project risks to ensure timely delivery and minimal disruption to service.
• Deliver engineered solutions in the repair, service, and retrofit of rotating equipment.
• Provide technical advice and support to internal stakeholders across the UK.

Overview of the Graduate Programme

Our Engineering & Technical Graduate Programme is a two-year rotational scheme designed to give you broad exposure across Sulzer’s engineering functions. You’ll rotate through multiple UK sites and departments, gaining hands‑on experience in:

• Design Engineering
• Industrial Engineering
• Process Engineering
• Project Delivery

This programme is aligned with Sulzer’s Service Centre of the Future strategy, giving you the opportunity to contribute to transformative projects that drive innovation, efficiency, and growth. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, receive formal mentoring, and benefit from structured development pathways tailored to your career goals.

What You’ll Be Doing
