Role and Responsibilities

  • Manage the Workshop and Engineering Department, including a team of HGV Technicians, Engineers, a Service Coordinator, and Administrator.
  • Oversee maintenance of our fleet of HGVs, Plant Equipment, and Material Handling Equipment.
  • Meet KPIs, implement positive changes, and manage performance levels.
  • Complete risk assessments and maintain health and safety standards.
  • Ensure smooth operation of PPMs and reactive maintenance.
  • Achieve targeted MOT pass rates.
  • Previous experience managing a busy HGV fleet workshop.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced maintenance environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other computer programs.
