Job Title: Engineer - V&V Events
Location: Crewe, 3 days onsite per week
Remuneration: Up to 33/hour
Contract Details: Fixed Term Contract (4 months) - Likely extensions

Responsibilities:

  • Event Coordination: Collaborate with the technical team to develop detailed event itineraries and drive plans that ensure vehicle readiness for dynamic and static validation events.
  • Vehicle Assessment: Lead vehicle assessments during events, driving pre-production vehicles and identifying customer-relevant concerns.
  • Problem Solving: utilise your expertise to address complex engineering challenges, capturing and reporting findings effectively.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside engineering, diagnostics, calibration, and quality teams to ensure seamless issue resolution and validation.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Accurately document test results, concern logs, and validation outcomes, maintaining clear communication across various levels of the organisation.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in system testing, validation, or verification engineering.
  • Full UK (or equivalent) driving licence; advanced driving qualifications (e.g., IAM, RoSPA) and track driving experience are desirable.
  • Familiarity with vehicle systems and data logging tools, including CAN analysis.
  • Safety or first-aid training for test environments is beneficial.
