Rolls-Royce Defence UK in Bristol is seeking a Development Engineer to own verification and validation activities across components and flight test, delivering substantiation data to programmes. This integration role provides coaching to engineering teams to develop robust, verified solutions aligned with customer and regulatory requirements.

To own and deliver Development activities e.g. Verification & Validation (V&V), Build/Experiment definition across Component, Bench Engine and Installed Verification (Flight Test), and the subsequent delivery of V&V data back to the programmes.
The Development Engineer is responsible for ensuring that Rolls-Royce has sufficient oversight for our products to meet business, customer and regulatory requirements. It covers engineers who are performing Development, Systems Engineering and Verification style roles.
This is an integration role where the individual will work to enable all engineering teams through coaching and support to successfully develop robust, verified engineering solutions against robust validated customer requirements.
This role sits within our Defence business and supports our multinational programmes to deliver the next generation of Defence capability.

To work for the Rolls-Royce Defence Early Life Cycle business, an individual has to hold a Security Check clearance.
