Trade Finance and Lending (TF&L) is a key business division within the Corporate Bank, serving global clients with innovative financial solutions. The team is undergoing transformation, modernizing legacy platforms into cloud-compliant, event-driven architectures with reusable technology stacks to automate and improve business processes.

As an Engineer, you will play a crucial role in this transformation. You will work with complex, large-scale legacy codebases with minimal documentation, using your technical expertise to align systems with strategic architecture, build team knowledge, and make a lasting impact.

Your responsibilities include delivering solutions that modernize and enhance the system while maintaining stability and performance. You will analyze current systems, implement innovative solutions, and share your knowledge to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning. You will uphold high standards of software development best practices.

You will develop strong relationships with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to understand and solve business problems through technology. Together, you will design and deliver engineering solutions to meet complex business goals, ensuring alignment with strategic architecture.

Your key responsibilities:

• Designing and developing high-quality solutions for risk management of corporate lending products
• Driving continuous improvement in processes, tools, and techniques
• Solving complex problems and delivering practical solutions
• Supporting platform stability by managing incidents
• Automating delivery pipelines for deployment readiness
• Improving application performance and code quality to meet business requirements

Your skills and experience:

• Proven experience in Java application development with Spring framework
• Exposure to front-end technologies like JavaScript and test automation tools such as Cucumber
• Experience in developing complex, business-facing applications
• Good understanding of relational databases, including Oracle and PL/SQL
• Familiarity with modern SDLC tools like Bitbucket, Jira, Artifactory, and TeamCity
