This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful security company specializing in Security / Access Control Systems for some of the UK's largest Utility companies. We are looking for an ambitious Engineer to join our Technology Projects division and help develop the business during an exciting growth phase.

This is a field-based, UK-wide role, so it is essential that you are willing to travel and work away from home.

Essential Competencies

• You will have a thorough understanding and be able to demonstrate expertise in at least one of the following disciplines: Access Control, CCTV, Intruder, Powerfence.
• Experience with Gallagher Security Systems (Access Control or Perimeter).
• You are forward-thinking with a keen eye for detail.
• You can work independently and as part of a team, effectively planning your daily tasks.

Role & Responsibilities

• Fault diagnosis on Electrical Fence, CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems.
• Installation of bespoke security systems.
• Planned preventive maintenance on security systems.
• Detecting and reporting defects, snags, and complaints.
• Managing van stock, replenishment, and stocktaking.
• Problem solving and making diligent recommendations.
• Demonstrating completed systems or work to clients and end users.
• Arranging PAT and meter calibrations for company equipment.
• Completing asset tagging and registration of information.
• Candidates must be PC and IT literate, as data recording and email communication are essential.
