This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful security company who specialise in Security / Access Control Systems to some of the UK's largest Utility companies across the UK, to join as an ambitious Engineer in our Technology Projects division and help to develop the business during an exciting phase of growth.

This is a field based, UK wide role, so it is imperative that you are happy to travel/work away from home.

Essential Competencies
  • You will have a complete understanding and be able to demonstrate at least ONE of the following disciplines: Access Control, CCTV, Intruder, Powerfence.
  • Gallagher Security Systems (Access Control or Perimeter).
  • You will be forward thinking with an eye for detail.
  • You will be expected to work alone and as part of a team and effectively plan your day to day works.
Role & Responsibilities
  • Fault diagnosis on Electrical Fence, CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarms systems.
  • Installation of bespoke security systems.
  • Planned preventive maintenances on bespoke security systems.
  • Detecting and reporting defects, snags and complaints.
  • Responsibility for Van Stock / Replenishment and Stock Taking.
  • Competency in problem solving and an ability to make diligent recommendations.
  • Demonstration to Clients and End Users of completed systems or individual work(s).
  • Arranging PAT and Meter Calibrations for company issued equipment.
  • Completion of Asset Tagging and Registration of Information.
  • Candidates must be PC and IT literate as recording of data and email are an important job requirement.
