The Purpose of the Role

To provide multi-skilled engineering support to the production stream as part of the engineering team, responsible for maintaining plant, equipment, and auxiliary services comprehensively.

What We Are Looking For
Education
  • Time Served Multi-Skilled Technician Apprenticeship or Electrical/Mechanical Apprenticeship with additional recognized training
  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance (Electrical and Mechanical), Level 3 BTEC in Engineering, or ONC/D in Engineering
  • Proficient in written, numerical, and verbal skills
  • Fluent in English (oral and written)
  • Good computer skills in MS Office and CMMS systems
Technical Skills
  • Strong competence in mechanical and electrical engineering, with a bias towards electrical engineering
  • Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • PLC programming and system diagnosis skills
  • Knowledge of circuit boards, computer hardware, and software
  • Experience with CAD systems for electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic drawings
  • Understanding and previous use of continuous improvement tools like TPM, RCA, 5S, RCM, Kaizen, and SMED
