Are you ready to lead from the front?

We’re seeking an accomplished Engineer and Team Leader to drive the success of our Oil Management Unit (OMU), delivering vital operations that keep the electricity transmission network running reliably.

In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee a skilled team of 10 professionals, including LGV drivers, plant operatives, and waste treatment specialists. You’ll be responsible for managing complex oil handling projects within substation environments, ensuring high standards of safety, environmental protection, and quality assurance. You’ll create a cohesive team culture, inspire performance, and maintain compliance with waste permits, Technically Competent Manager (TCM) requirements, and WAMITAB qualifications.

We’re looking for a qualified Engineer with proven leadership experience and a track record of delivering projects safely and effectively. Your ability to motivate teams and uphold the highest standards will be essential to this role.   • Min HNC engineering qualification

Pay and Benefits

• A starting salary of £58,830 to £61,740 pa including allowance + Paid overtime + Company Car

• 37 Hours per week Mon - Fri, occasional weekend work

• Training and Development.

• 26 days annual leave plus 8 statutory days.
