Job description

What will I be doing?

You will undergo industry-leading, bespoke training before conducting hands-on statutory inspections. You'll provide expert opinions on various equipment, ensuring clients comply with relevant legislation and meet high standards. After inspections, you'll report using a rugged laptop and electronically submit reports to clients, requiring good IT skills and literacy. Excellent communication skills and sound engineering judgment are essential.

What skills/qualifications will I have?

You should be an experienced engineer with solid knowledge of your discipline, working within a multi-disciplined inspection team in your area. You will report to a Team Manager, work from home, and travel reasonably to client sites.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Completed a time-served or Modern Apprenticeship
  • Hands-on experience in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Experience with Pressure, Compressed air & Steam Equipment for inspections
  • A full UK driving license
  • Willingness to work paid overtime
