Role: Engineer Surveyor Pressure Glasgow

Location: Field based with daily travel to client sites; we aim to minimise travel where possible and offer localised geographical areas.

Package: Salary £46,260 - £49,344 + Car Allowance of £5K per annum or Company Car + £2,500 Retention payment pro rata, Contributory Pension

Role Purpose

To perform high-quality inspections ensuring pressure equipment complies with current regulations and standards. You will operate within approved authorities, inspection, and H&S standards with a customer-focused approach to deliver excellent service.

To produce and deliver inspection reports using Bureau Veritas’s best-in-class tools for on-site reporting and immediate client access, keeping abreast of standards and legislation, and acting as an advisor to high-profile clients in a professional, friendly, and authoritative manner.

What does it take to apply?

Bureau Veritas holds several accreditations including UKAS, SAFed membership, and SS01 compliance.

Candidate requirements for Mechanical Inspection roles include:

  • Minimum HNC, HND, or Level 4 mechanical engineering qualification
  • Minimum three to five years relevant industry experience working with pressure vessels, steam pressure equipment, piping, air receivers, and heat exchangers
