Job Description:

Location: Home based with daily travel to client sites, with efforts to minimize travel and localize geographical areas.

Package: £42,148 - £45,232 per annum, Car Allowance of £5,000 per annum or Company Car, one-off retention payment of up to £2,500, Fuel Card, Overtime available, Up to 12% Pension, Health Care, and other flexible benefits.

Role Purpose: Conduct high-quality inspections to ensure lifting equipment (MEWPS, HIAB, Cranes, FLTs) complies with current regulations (LOLER & PUWER). Operate within authorized standards, maintain customer focus, and deliver optimal service.

Produce and deliver inspection reports using Bureau Veritas’s tools, act as an advisor to high-profile clients, and operate professionally and authoritatively in client-facing roles.

What does it take to apply?

Bureau Veritas holds several accreditations including UKAS, SAFed membership, and SAFed Standard SS01 compliance.

Candidate requirements:

  • Minimum NVQ4, City and Guilds 4, HNC, HND or equivalent mechanical engineering qualification for Lift & Crane.
  • LEEA qualifications are preferred when combined with relevant mechanically biased engineering qualifications.
  • Minimum three to five years’ post qualification experience with relevant equipment.
  • Current clean UK driving license.
