Job description

Working Hours: This role is available on a part-time, job-share, and full-time basis.

Location: North London

Salary: Competitive salary, up to £54,394 depending on experience, plus location allowances.

Overview:

Our roles enable you to enhance your mechanical engineering skills within a market-leading inspection provider. We are expanding our field-based Engineer Surveyor team in North London, focusing on Lift and Crane inspections.

Responsibilities:

You will undergo industry-leading training and conduct statutory equipment inspections, providing expert opinions to ensure client compliance with legislation. You will report findings electronically, requiring good IT skills and literacy. Effective communication and sound engineering judgment are essential.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A Level 4 qualification (HND / HNC, etc.) in a relevant engineering field
  • Either a time-served or Modern Apprenticeship background
  • Hands-on experience in a relevant discipline
  • Experience with lifts and/or crane equipment is advantageous
  • A full UK driving license
  • Willingness to work paid overtime
