Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking an Engineer Surveyor (Lifting & Crane Equipment) to join our North Wales team. You will inspect diverse lifting equipment, identify defects, and prepare detailed reports to ensure compliance with LOLER/PUWAR regulations.

A focus on delivering excellent customer service is essential as you support clients across the field service operations. The role requires a Level 3 Engineering qualification and hands-on experience with lifting equipment, within manufacturing,

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 Engineering based qualification.
• Experience with lifting equipment including forklifts, platforms, passenger lifts, cranes, plant equipment, military vehicles or aircraft.
• Residency requirement: North Wales area.

Responsibilities

• Inspect lifting equipment to identify defects and generate detailed reports.
• Ensure customers are compliant with LOLER/PUWAR regulations.
• Provide excellent levels of customer service.

ENGINEER SURVEYOR

Job Title: Engineer Surveyor (Lifting & Crane Equipment)

Job Role of the Engineer Surveyor.

A standout opportunity has become available for a Engineer Surveyor to join a leading inspection consultancy. Our client is looking for Engineers with a background of working on or with equipment such as forklifts, mobile elevated working platforms, passenger lifts and cranes and looking for something different in their career.
You will be responsible for inspection to help identify defects and help prevent potential, avoidable defects and complete detailed reports. You will be required to make sure all customers are compliant with LOLER / PUWAR regulations and provide excellent levels of customer service.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Engineer Surveyor

• Minimum Level 3 Engineering based qualification.
• Hands on experience with or on different pieces of lifting equipment including forklifts, platforms, passenger lifts, cranes, plant equipment (diggers, dumpers), military vehicles or aircraft.

Requirements for the Engineer Surveyor

• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Mechanical engineering qualification, NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent.
• Experience working on or with various pieces of lifting equipment within manufacturing, military, marine, distribution or field service environments.
• Must live in the North Wales area

Desirable Requirements for the Engineer Surveyor

• Excellent knowledge of LOLER/PUWAR Regulations.
